Como se não bastassem as encantadoras e vibrantes músicas que já temos conhecimento do novo CD, eis que surge um mimo mais que especial para o fãs, um bônus track intitulada pelo mesmo nome do álbum "Strangeland". Ontem o facebook oficial da banda disponibilizou um jogo muito divertido, as primeiras pessoas que conseguiram completar a tarefa, ganharam o direito de fazer o download desta nova música ... é claro que no final do dia ela já estava disponível pra todos, pois é, os fãs de Keane são muito generosos!

Nova música dos Keane - Disconnected

Os Keane apresentaram em Filadélfia, no passado dia 7 de Agosto, durante a tour nos EUA, uma nova música chamada Disconnected.

Parece que a América do Norte é o local preferido para revelar novas canções, já em 2009 durante a digressão foi apresentada a música  Sovereign Light Café, estas duas novas canções podem fazer parte do novo álbum que promete ser para breve!

Música STOP FOR A MINUTE, revelada

Após tanta expectativa foi revelada a música "Stop For A Minute", com o rapper somali-canadiano K'Naan.
A música afasta-se um pouco da sonoridade a qual estamos habituados e ainda mais da música anteriormente revelada "Clear Skies".
Ao longo do dia pode-se ver muitos comentários relativos à música como por exemplo, " Eu estou a amar!! A letra é LINDAAA!!" , "Listening to #stopforaminute :D" "I Like it!!" ou até "strong lyrics" e "o rap é discreto e não incomoda"
No geral, um dos maiores medos dos fãs era o facto de a música ter rap, um registo um pouco diferente ao que todos estamos habituados.
Ao que se pôde apurar - mas ainda por confirmar - haverá duas versões da música, uma com mais e outra com menos rap.
No site oficial da banda encontra-se um excerto dos 90 segundos iniciais da música, onde se pode ouvir a voz do Tom e também do artista convidado. Para a ouvir basta clicar em aqui.
Um fã gravou - note-se que a qualidade não é das melhores - a música completa a partir da rádio.

Nova Musica - Sovereign Light Café (2009)

Foi durante a digressão pelo Canadá, que os Keane apresentaram uma nova musica ao vivo a que apelidaram de Sovereign Light Café. O titulo da musica vem de um restaurante/café situado na localidade de Bexhill que fica muito próxima da cidade natal dos membros da banda, Battle.

Alguns fãs que tiveram a oportunidade de falar com a banda depois destes concertos contam que a musica é sobre aproveitar as coisas simples da vida e que foi inspirada nos passeios de bicicleta que o Tim Rice-Oxley e o Richard Hughes faziam até Bexhill (perto do mar) quando eram mais novos. O Tim começou a escrever esta musica quando ainda andavam em digressão pela América do sul, mais especificamente no México. Muito provavelmente esta musica irá ser incluída no 4º álbum da banda que está previsto ser lançado no final do próximo ano.
